Monday 28th November 2011 Today Nepomuceno was murdered by an armed convoy in the City of Hermosillo, Sonora. He was an activist of the Movement for peace. He demanded to have his son back, who was abducted in July 2010 and he accused the Mexican police of being involved in the abduction. He was a simple and charismatic northerner. He foresaw his death. He was conscious he had made too many accusations against the government. Even after being threatened, he persevered. He used to say: "It doesn't matter is I pass away in the attempt, but I can't abandon my son". Your courage becomes our inspiration...

In July 2011, migrant form Central America undertook a Caravan to Mexico City to make themselves heard and stop the outrages to their family members who have been kidnaped or murder as they were trying to make their way into the US. Clinging to the heated metal, migrants traveling on "The Beast" under the burning sun, sometimes without water and food, but with some money to pay the "coyote." They dream of a better future for themselves and their families. Migrant men and women are kidnapped, extorted, tortured, raped, enslaved and murdered, by Organized Crime often with the consent and participation of the police and immigration authorities from Mexico.

Appel mondial à arrêter la guerre au Mexique Le groupe indépendant de vidéastes mexicains dénonce une atteinte à son site internet et sollicite l’aide internationale urgente de tous les médias libres et dignes, des groupes culturels et artistiques ainsi que de la société civile pour freiner la guerre au Mexique. écouter comuniqué en Français La dite guerre contre le narcotrafic est un gros business pour un petit nombre et une grande catastrophe pour le plus grand nombre. Cette guerre est un mensonge et une escroquerie. C’est l’ultime recours du pouvoir. C’est la mort et la peur de la mort. Elle n’est pas abstraite mais d’une mortelle réalité. Lundi 28 nov 2011 mourut assassiné Nepomucène Moreno Nunez. Son cas est symptomatique de la situation nationale et prouve la totale absurdité de cette guerre. Nepomuceno Moreno son fils de 17 ans a disparu. Il a été séquestré avec d’autres jeunes gens le 1 juillet 2010 dans plusieurs véhicules particuliers par des membres de la police d’Etat et municipale. Le tribunal a refusé de fournir les videos du mini-super où cela s’est passé et de la route fédérale. Il a été menacé par des policiers et criminels. Et il a exigé du Président des mesure de sécurité. Celui-ci a délégué lla question au premier Ministre, mort depuis « accidentellement ». Le Lundi 28 novembre Nepomuceno Moreno Nunes est assassiné. A quatre rues du bureau du Ministère de l’Intérieur, à six du Congrès de l’Etat et quelques mètres de l’Université de Sonora. En plein centre d’Hermosillo. 2 jours après il est accusé par le Tribunal d’Etat lui-même d’appartenir au crime organisé. Dans la cruelle logique légale. Les morts ne peuvent se défendre. L’ONU même a condamné énergiquement son assassinat et les membres du Mouvement pour la Justice la Paix et la dignité a désormais averti que son cas relevait de la Justice internationale. Les télévisions du monde entier ont couvert l’événement. Aux USA, CNN, Fox News, Démocratia Now, en ont parlé. A Mexico les médias audiovisuels comme Milenio TV et les programmes comme celui de Carmen Aristegui ont aussi fait des reportages. Presque tous utilisèrent la video réalisée par emergenciamx.org. Dans ce contexte nous dénonçons que le 1 décembre 2011 des membres de l’équipe d’Emergencia.mx.org ont détecté une tentative de forcer la publication d’une vidéo violente sur ce sujet. L’attaque n’a pas marché et sans doute s’agit-il d’une des multiples manifestations de haine comme celle qui règnent sur le web dans les réseaux sociaux. La video de Népomucène pourrait avoir été réalisée par n 'importe quel groupe ou individu qui s’efforce de rendre visible la tragédie nationale par la voix des victimes et de leur familles. Bien que les medias utilisent massivement ce genre de matériel sans courir de risques les réalisateurs de ces tentatives restent dans cette semi obscurité si dangereuse. La compilation de témoignages de victimes video et audio non seulement est importante mais fondamentale pour générer le seul Wikileaks mexicain possible dans cette guerre. Les parents proches des victimes sont les seuls à enquêter réellement et en profondeur sur ces cas dans notre pays. Avec leur propre argent ils ont payé des procès infructueux, contacté des rescapés et des informateurs. Ils sont discriminés et dépouillés financièrement à tous les niveaux de la justice gouvernementale. Réunissent avec l’effort de familles entières la documentation de leur affaire pour les présenter par la voie légale. Pourtant la voie que suivent ces documents, parait tellement lourde, obscure et inabordable voire contreproductive. En contrepartie les témoignages video et audio des groupes solidaires, diffusés par les réseaux sociaux ne prétendent pas appeler à un effroyable tribunal mais à une jugement humain. Dans ce sens le attaque de notre site appartient aux innombrables attaques et trolls que subissent les medias indépendants et les familles de victimes tant sur la toile que par les ondes. Mais la situation actuelle pourrait faire penser à un enchaînement d’attaques, assassinats et séquestrations en série contre des membres du Mouvement pour la Paix au niveau national. Ces dernières semaines l’attentat de 1-Norma Andrade, présidente de l’association « Nos filles de retour à la maison » à Ciudad Juarez, 2-la disparition forcée de Martial Bautista Valle et Eva Fe Alarcon Ortiz présidents et coordinatrice de la fédération des Paysans écologistes de la Sierra de Petatlan et Coyuca de Catalan et membres du Mouvement pour la Paix (MPJD), 3-l’assassinat de la chanteuse Julia Michan 4-le 6 décembre, ont été séquestrés et mis dans un camion un groupe de MPJD regagnant officiellement une Caravane Observatoire à Ostula, canton de Aquila Michoacan. Juste après le refus d’escorte de la police fédérale, un groupe paramilitaire armé les a stoppés et menacé. Dans ce groupe se trouvait le leader de la communauté Juan Trinidad de la Cruz (don Trino) qui a refusé de monter dans le camion et que l’on a retrouvé un peu plus tard assassiné et portant des marques de tortures. Les cas de Nepomuceno et Don Trino font partie des 67 000 morts et 10 000 disparitions du sexenat. Une femme est violée toutes les 18’ sur le territoire national. On avance les chiffres de plus de 1M et demi de déplacés. Telle est la guerre dont souffre actuellement Mexico. C’est pourquoi nous nous solidarisons avec le Mouvement pour La Paix et nous sollicitons l’aide internationale d’urgence de tous les médias libres et dignes, des groupes culturels et artistiques, et de la société civile. Nous sollicitons l’aide de Democratia Now, Telesur et Al Jezeera et tous les médias audio pour qu’ils diffusent par tous les moyens ces témoignages. Dans cette guerre, le seul accusé est la victime et le seul enquêteur la famille de la victime, le seul reporter l’amoi solidaire, et le seul gouvernement la société civile. Grâce à ce communiqué au-delà des atermoiements, promesses et déceptions, la société Mexicaine doit sortir une fois de plus de la nuit de son histoire. Mexico is in an state of National Emergency 50000 people have died due to the so-called "war against drugs" initiated by President Felipe Calderón With the murder of son of poet Javier Sicilia in March 2011 a civil movement emerges proclaiming: Enough Already! Halte aux crimes de haine contre les femmes au Mexique, Halte à l'immpunité ! Alto a los crímenes de odio contra las mujeres Mexicanas, Alto a la impunidad ! Depuis 1993, près de 400 femmes ont été assassinées et 500 ont disparues à Ciudad Juárez . Progressivement, ces assassinats violents de femmes se sont étendu à tout le pays. Au Mexique, nous appelons ça des Feminicidios. « J'ai été enlevée, maintenue captive et soumise à une violence sexuelle féroce avant d'être mutilée, assassinée et abandonnée dans un terrain vague . A mes côtés, sous la terre, il ya beaucoup d'autres jeunes femmes pauvres, comme moi. Parfois, mes restes sont retrouvés au bout de quelques jours par des passants, parfois cela prend plusieurs années. Mais surtout, il arrive qu'on ne me retrouve jamais, et ma famille et mes proches vivent alors dans l'angoisse permanente, ignorant où je suis, si je suis vivante ou morte. Je suis une femme. Je travaille dans une maquiladora du nord du Mexique, dans un bar ou dans l'économie informelle, je suis étudiante. Je suis une mère, et une fille, une soeur et une amie. Ma famille est parvenue à transformer sa douleur en force. En plus de mon brutal assassinat, elle est confrontée quotidiennement à l'incompétence, la corruption, l'indifférence, la brutalité des forces de l'ordre et des responsables politiques. Ma famille espère, et exige, que justice soit rendue pour ma disparition et ma mort prématurée, c'est seulement ainsi qu'ils pourront recommencer à vivre ...

Aujourd'hui Nepomuceno s'est fait assassiner par un convoi armé, dans la ville de Hermosillo, Sonora. C'était un activiste du mouvement pour la paix qui exigeait le retour de son fils et de ses amis, disparus aux mains de la police. Il est même aller dialoguer avec le président Felipe Calderon, mais il n'a pas reçu protection. Nepo était un homme simple et charismatique. En confrontant directement le crime organisé, il savait d'avance qu'il allait mourir ainsi, car il avait consciemment révélé trop d'information sur les capteurs de son fils, mettant le gouvernement dans l'embarras. Malgré les menaces, il ne s'est pas tue. Il affirmait : "tant pis si je meurt dans l'essai, mais je ne peux pas abandonner mon fils". Ton courage sera notre inspiration. Lundi, 28 novembre 2011

Global call to stop the war in Mexico PRESS RELEASE EMERGENCIAMXindependent group conformed by Mexican film makers and communicator denounces the attack to their website and requests for urgent international support from all the independent and honorable media, cultural and artistic groups, as well as from civil society in general, in order to stop the war in Mexico. Listen press release in English The so called war against drugs in Mexico is a massive business for a few, and a great disgrace for us all. The war is a lie and a fraud. The war is the last state of power. It is death and fear to death. It is the night of times. It is not abstract, but starkly concrete. On Monday the 28th of November 2011, Nepomuceno Moreno Núñez died by murder.   His case is iconic to the national situation, and one further proof of the absurdity of this war. Nepomuceno Moreno Núñez: his 17-year-old son had been disappeared. He was kidnapped, along other youngsters the 1st of July 2010, in several patrols and particular cars by members of the state and local police. The Federal Attorney General has denied access to the security videos taken on the convenience store where he was abducted, as well as those from the federal highway. Blackmail calls have been made from this same Federal Attorney General. He was deceived by justice. He was threatened by the police and by criminals. He demanded protection to the President, who left this assignment to the Minister of the Interior, who “accidentally” died, being him the second one in this charge to have this fate in the six-years presidency period. On Monday the 28th of November Nepomuceno Moreno Núñez was killed, four blocks away from the District Attorney’s Office, six blocks away from the State Congress and only a few meters from the University of Sonora, just in the middle of Hermosillo’s city centre. Two days later he was indicted by the Federal Attorney General itself, for belonging to the organised crime, as part of the cruel legal logic: dead cannot defend themselves. The UN itself energetically condemned Nepomuceno’s murder, and members of the Movement for Peace with Justice and Dignity have already warned that this case will be taken to the highest levels of international justice. Worldwide newscast covered this case. In the US, from CNN and FOX news to DemocracyNow published brief reports regarding this matter. Mexico’s communication media such as Milenio TV and programs like Carmen Aristegui’s made reports on the video likewise. Almost all of them used as a resource the video made by EmergenciaMx.org. In this context we publicly denounce that on Saturday the 1st of December 2011, members of the team of EmergenciaMx.org detected a virtual attack against the group’s website www.emergenciamx.org by means that tried to force the publication of a violent video in the system. The attack was not effective and without a doubt it was another hate demonstration, such as all the existent nowadays through the net. Napomuceno’s video could have been made by any of the so many groups and individuals that, within their efforts, try to make visible the national tragedy through the voice of the victims and their families. While mass media uses those audiovisual materials without facing any risk, the producers remain in this, so wisely dangerous, semi-obscurity. The collection of testimonies in video and audio from the victims and family members, is not only important, but fundamental to generate the single possible Mexican “Wikileaks” of this war. It is the direct families of the victims the only ones that truly run deep investigations on the cases in our country, and with their own money pay unsuccessful ransoms, and hire investigators and informants. They are discriminated and extorted in all governmental and attorney levels; they gather, with the effort of whole families, the needed documentation to present their cases in the legal manner. However the flow these documents follow seems infinitely long, dark, unaffordable and even counterproductive. As a counterpart, the video testimonies that autonomous groups and supportive individuals broadcast through social networks are not intended to appeal any tremendous court, they pretend to plead human judgment.  In this sense, the attack to our site is added to the uncountable attacks and trolls that the independent media and families of the victims suffer, both through the net as radio frequencies. However the actual situation can be considered as a chain of serial attacks, murders and kidnaps against the members of the “Movement for Peace with Justice and Dignity” (MPJD) on a national level. This happening just after a few weeks from the murder attempt against Norma Andrade, founder of the group “Nuestras hijas de regreso a casa” (Our daughters return home) in Ciudad Juárez; a few days after the murder of Nepomuceno Moreno; a few days after the forced disappearance of Marcial Bautista Valle and Eva Fe Alarcón Ortiz, -the former president and the latter coordinator of the “Organización de Campesinos Ecologistas de la Sierra de Petatlán y Coyuca de Catalán, A.C.” (Organisation of Environmental Peasants from the range of Petatlán and Coyuca of Catalán), moreover, members of the MPJD-; and the murder of the singer and activist Julia Michán.   This past 6th of December a bus with almost 20 members of the MPJD was captured while traveling on the Caravan of Observation to Ostula, municipality of Aquila, Michoacán. As a result of the negative given by the Federal Police’s escort, a paramilitary group stopped and threatened them with long weapons. J. Trinidad de la Cruz Crisóforo, communal leader, was traveling along with the caravan. “Don Trino” did not make it back to the bus again, and on the next day he was found dead with severe signs of torture. The cases of Napomuceno Moreno and Trinidad de la Cruz are added to the more than 67,000 deaths and 10,000 disappearances of the six-years presidency period. A woman is raped every 18 seconds in national territory. Numbers of over 1.5 million displaced people are presented. These are the war measurements that Mexico is suffering at the present. By this means we support the “Movement for Peace with Justice and Dignity” and we ask for urgent international support from all independent and honorable media, cultural and social groups, as well as from the civil society in general. We specifically ask for the support of DEMOCRACY NOW, TELESUR, AL JAZEERA and all non-corporative honest broadcasters, in the defense and promotion, through all media, of these testimonies. In this war the only one accused is the victim, the only investigator is the family of the victim, the only reporter is the supportive friend and the only government is civil society. In the middle of this circulation, in this come and go, between promises and deceptions, the Mexican society will have to come out, once more, from the night of its own history.
